Cytotechnologist Resume

Cytotechnology is a special subfield of pathology, which deals with identification or tracing of evidence of disease through microscopic study of human cells. This tracing of disease evidence consists of identifying presence of bacteria/virus of a particular disease in blood cells.

Most of the people, who are unaware of the vast scope of Cytotechnology, call it a science to know presence/growth of cancer cells, due to its immense use in recognizing cancer. However, cytotechnologists serve a wide range of disease investigation procedures. The typical work procedures of cytotechnologists include collecting cell samples, storing them at appropriate conditions, examining the samples and forwarding the sample investigation reports to the pathologist.
