Computer Engineering Graduate Resume

Computer engineering is a branch of engineering that combines electronics engineering and computer science. As against software engineering, which purely focuses on developing software or writing programs, computer engineering takes care of both electronics and programming aspects of a computer system.

Computer engineering is a leader among the disciplines which offer top level jobs in market today. Business demands for computers keep changing as per the changing trends in the respective businesses. Accordingly, new generation computers, which are revised in their sizes and computing powers, have to be launched by the manufacturers. Computer engineers work hard in this respect, to lower the physical size and to raise the computational capacities.

Here’s a resume sample for a computer engineering graduate, who has just finished his/her graduation.

Academic Project:

“Tire speed monitoring microprocessor”. This was an academic project for my final year of computer engineering. In this, I designed a microprocessor which could monitor and “sense” the activities of a tire assembly, on which it is fitted. The tire assembly consisted of a single tire capable of rotating around a fixed rod and powered by a mid-range motor. As soon as the tire started rotating, the microprocessor started its working and determined the acceleration (or deceleration) rate, consistently. The system was programmed to analyze sudden changes in the standard rates and would respond with a signal on finding such sudden rate change.
